Product Specification & Summary

Summary Of The Book
There have been a number of books written on Warren Buffett in the past thirty years or so. Some books are solely based on his quotations and investment strategies, while some are biographies. However, Tap Dancing To Work: Warren Buffett On Practically Everything (1966 - 2012) is different from these books. Written by one of Buffett’s close friends and editor-at-large of Fortune magazine, Loomis has written this book as a result of putting together the best articles written about Buffett, which were published in this magazine. The book also includes articles written by Buffett himself.

The unique aspect of this book is that it describes the thoughts running in the minds of authors about Buffett, during the times these articles were written. This book also takes the readers back to the time when Buffett’s name was unheard of, as he served as a money manager in Omaha, Nebraska. This book has also been presented in a chronological manner, which helps the reader travel back to a specific time in the life of this investing giant.

The very first article in this book, however, is not based on Warren Buffett, but it talks about Alfred Winslow Jones, who was a money manager, who conceived the word ‘hedge fund’. The reason behind including this article in the starting of this book was that it was the first time Fortune ever included the name Buffett in their magazine. Tap Dancing To Work: Warren Buffett On Practically Everything (1966 - 2012) is definitely one of the most unique books on this investing giant, and is definitely worth reading.
